About Positive Electric

Jim Milano worked as an electrician and journeyman for years in the greater Seattle area before striking out on his own. He created Positive Electric, which he operated as a state certified electrical contractor for more than a decade in Western Washington. When his daughter finished school and became a professional adult, he no longer felt tied to the big city, and decided to listen to his wife, Sheila.

Sheila’s parents had been living in Coulee City for a long time, and he agreed that the call to a simpler life was so strong he just couldn’t ignore it any more. Together, they packed up everything they had, which was a lot, and headed east. They already owned property in the area, but they bought the old Falcon Crest shop in Coulee so Jim would have a place to work on his cars and tinker with his toys.

Since their move they’ve worked hard to earn the trust and respect of the the communities they serve, and they’ve found a few new friends, as well as earned a handful of raving fans along the way.

If you need a repair, electrical help with a remodel, or a from-scratch rough-in, you’ll find a friend in Jim and his crew, and you’ll enjoy the same level of service that made him a luxury in the competitive Seattle Market.
